Juventus has confirmed the appointment of Luciano Spalletti, former Napoli manager, as the new head coach of the Italian giants, effective this weekend.
The decision comes just days after the club parted ways with Igor Tudor on Monday, following a disappointing run that saw the Bianconeri go eight matches without a win.
In an official statement, the club announced:
“We are delighted to welcome a coach with such expertise and experience to the Bianconeri family: welcome to Juventus and good luck, coach!”
This move marks Juventus’s third managerial change in 2025, underscoring the period of instability the Turin-based club has endured.
Spalletti, known for leading Napoli to Serie A glory in 2023, will now be tasked with restoring Juventus’s form, instilling discipline, and reconnecting with the squad’s winning mentality.
Currently sitting seventh in Serie A, Juventus managed a 3-1 victory over Udinese earlier this week — a result they hope to build upon.
Spalletti’s debut match as head coach will be against Jamie Vardy’s Cremonese on Saturday
