Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Ayomide “Mide” Iwasokun, has addressed the perception that she came across as a “mean girl” during her stay in the reality TV show.
Mide Explains the “Mean Girl” Label
In her post-eviction interview, Mide said the tag stemmed largely from how people interpreted her facial expressions rather than her true personality.
“I feel like it started from my facial expression when everyone was coming in. People are not understanding the process — we were so tired. Personally, I was so tired, and sometimes I just have a resting face that looks a certain way and gives off that vibe,” she explained.
She emphasized that she does not intentionally act mean, adding:
“I genuinely do not have a mean bone in my body. I can react when I am angry, but that’s where it ends. I don’t have the time to just be mean. Even Dede is not a mean person at all.”
Eviction Night Shock
Mide was evicted in a triple eviction alongside Zita and Rooboy, reducing the competition to the top 10 housemates.
Her departure surprised many viewers, as she had been considered one of the fan favourites of the season.
