Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has revealed plans to move out of her Lekki residence after yet another section of her POP ceiling collapsed — the second incident in less than two months.
In a video posted on her Instagram page, the movie star expressed frustration and disappointment over what she described as the poor structural quality of many buildings in Lekki, despite their luxurious appearance.
She lamented that despite spending heavily on the property, she had repeatedly faced safety issues and could no longer endure the stress, adding that she would soon relocate to a safer home.
This development comes just two months after Nkechi narrowly escaped injury when part of her POP ceiling crashed near her newly purchased car.
At the time, the actress shared a video of the incident, blaming substandard construction work by property developers in the highbrow area for the growing cases of building defects and collapses.
