Cynthia Nwifuru, sister of Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru, has tied the knot with her longtime partner, Engr. Silas Umahi, who is the brother of Nigeria’s Minister of Works, Engr. David Umahi.
The traditional wedding ceremony took place at the palace of His Royal Highness Ezekiel Nwifuru Nwakpu in Oferekpe Agbaja, Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
Minister David Umahi shared the joyous news in a Facebook post on Saturday, October 18, where he posted photos of himself with Governor Nwifuru and other family members during the celebration.
Revealing details about the couple’s love story, the minister disclosed that their relationship began quietly in 2020. “The relationship between the new couple started in 2020 when no one knew about it,” he wrote.
