Nollywood actress Bukola Arugba has finally addressed a fan’s inquiry regarding rumours about her past relationship with actor Damola Olatunji.
The actress, who was once romantically linked to Damola and shares twins with him, recently responded to a curious follower who questioned her about an alleged pregnancy.
In the comment section of one of her Instagram posts, the fan asked:
“Shey na true say you get belle for another man while planning to get married to him? Yes or No?”
Bukola, however, quickly shut down the rumour, giving a direct and clear response.
She simply wrote:
“No.”
Bukola and Damola’s relationship came to an end in 2023 after years of being together. Despite public assumptions that they were married, Bukola clarified through her solicitors that they were never legally married, though they share a set of twins.
In May 2023, she issued a public statement announcing their separation, noting that they had amicably parted ways.
Following their split, Damola addressed the controversies surrounding their breakup, explaining that people had spread false reports about him abandoning his family and home.
The actor hinted that the relationship ended naturally, saying that “feelings die and love fades”, and encouraged couples to separate peacefully when things are no longer working.
