Burna Boy’s Sister, Nissi, Denies Rumoured Sack of Their Mother as Manager

Nissi Ogulu, sister to Nigerian music star Burna Boy, has dismissed reports alleging that their mother, Bose Ogulu, has been fired as the singer’s manager.

The speculation began after ChaftsAfrica circulated what it claimed to be an Instagram story post from the singer announcing that his mother would no longer manage him. The rumour further spread when an X user, @Joyfultips, wrote, “Just heard Burna Boy fired his mom, this whole thing is getting crazier.”

Responding directly to the post, Nissi quoted it and shut down the claim, simply stating: “FAKE NEWS.”

The rumour surfaced amid online conversations surrounding the singer’s recently cancelled ‘No Sign of Weakness’ US tour, which was reportedly called off due to low ticket sales.
