Megan Thee Stallion returned to court this week to confront blogger Milagro “Gramz” Cooper, whom she accuses of fueling a damaging smear campaign against her. The Grammy-winning rapper took the stand in her ongoing defamation suit, detailing the profound emotional impact of the harassment she endured during and after the Tory Lanez trial.
According to testimony reported by multiple outlets, Megan revealed that the barrage of online attacks pushed her to one of the darkest points in her life.
“I genuinely didn’t care if I lived or died,” she told the court, explaining how relentless lies and conspiracy theories left her feeling hopeless.
“I felt like no way I mattered. No way I should even be living. I don’t want to be here. I’m tired of waking up,” she continued. “I just wanted to die… I’m not going to kill myself because I’m not going to give them what they’re looking for.”
The case centers on Cooper’s commentary and content during the Lanez proceedings, which included dismissive narratives, misleading claims, and the circulation of a deepfake pornographic video designed to discredit Megan. Court documents also revealed alleged payments from Lanez’s father to Cooper. While Cooper insists the transactions were for “kids’ birthdays” and promotional work, Megan’s former manager testified that the deepfake scandal alone forced the rapper into $240,000 worth of therapy.
Despite the trauma resurfacing in the courtroom, Megan told the court she hopes her decision to speak openly will encourage other women facing harassment and defamation to come forward and share their stories.
