Serenity Royale Hospital has distanced itself from a medical report circulating on social media alleging that Nollywood actress Regina Daniels tested positive for several narcotic substances.
In an official statement released on Wednesday, the hospital said it became aware of a “Mid Term Home Detox Report” being shared online bearing its name and linked to the actress. The management firmly stated that the document did not originate from the hospital and urged the public to disregard it.
According to the statement, Serenity Royale Hospital remains committed to strict medical confidentiality, ethical medical practice, and the protection of patient information.
The disclaimer followed the circulation of a detailed document claiming Regina Daniels tested positive for cocaine, marijuana, morphine, opiates, and high levels of alcohol. The viral report also alleged that Daniels underwent a detox programme at the hospital between September 9 and October 15, 2025, following accusations of drug abuse by her husband, Ned Nwoko.
The document further claimed that a psychological emergency team was invited to the Nwoko residence after the actress reportedly went 48 hours without sleep and became aggressive during an argument. It also alleged that she exhibited agitation, anger, and an “elated and evasive” mood, leading to a diagnosis of substance use disorder.
However, the hospital has now debunked the authenticity of the report, stressing that no such document was issued by its staff or management.
The full statement reads:
“Our attention has been drawn to a post (on an alleged MID TERM HOME DETOX REPORT) being circulated online in the name of Serenity Royale Hospital with respect to Mrs Nwoko Regina.
We wish to state clearly that the publication and circulation of the said post containing classified information did not emanate from us and respectfully request the public to disregard same.
We remain committed to high standard medical practice with huge commitment to ensuring medical confidentiality.

With the hospital’s clarification, the authenticity of the circulating medical report has now been discredited.
