Early Life and Education
Sochima Ezeoke (born October 1, 2000, 25 years old) is from Umuezedi Okpoko Village, Akpulu, Imo State, Nigeria. She was raised by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ezeoke.
The rich traditions of the Igbo kept her childhood happy, and in a close relationship she had with her brothers, Chinemelum Benneth Versy and Chikezie. The two men are the rocks that she leans on in her life.
After her mother (Sabina Anuli Ezeoke) passed away in 2017, she became even stronger. Sochima studied at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Anambra, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication.
Her education opened the door for her to merge knowledge with her natural ability to perform, which eventually made her a Nollywood star.
Career
Sochima Ezeoke entered the Nigerian movie industry around 2010 and made a great impression with Palace Slave and its sequel, The King’s Bride, where she acted alongside Mike Ezuruonye and Nonso Diobi.
Soon after that, she became a household name in the film industry. Sochima has been featured in more than 20 movies, including Amanda My Village Wife (2015), The Village People (2022), Between the Lines (2022), Daddies Face-Off, Unacceptable, and Lonely Princess.
With the desire to produce her own content, she founded ZOKEtv and Zoke Studios, and is now the director of Sisters By Chance (2024) and the recent Unlikely Bond and Whispered Desire (2024).
