Nollywood actor Taye Arimoro has accused actress Peggy Ovire and her team of assaulting him and tampering with his car during a heated confrontation on a movie set in Lagos.
In a live video shared early Wednesday, Taye recounted the incident, explaining that the altercation began after his contracted working hours had ended.
According to him, his agreement for the night was meant to end by 11 p.m., with a 10 a.m. call time for the following day.
However, he claimed that despite staying until around midnight, his attempt to leave was blocked by Peggy’s team.
In one of the clips captioned “I went back to try and get the things in my car,” Taye said:
“Yeah, I’m okay. I’m alright. I have injuries—serious injuries, but I’m more concerned about the things in my car. I have injuries in my lower gum. It’s just crazy how things are happening.”
The actor further alleged that Peggy Ovire instructed her driver to block his car, and that his tyres were deflated during the confrontation.
“My car tyres got flattened in the heat of the moment and I was stressed — and look at these injuries,” he added, showing visible wounds on his lips and gums.
As of now, Peggy Ovire has not responded publicly to the allegations. The incident has since sparked conversations on social media, with fans and colleagues calling for restraint and professionalism on film sets.
