Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has revealed that her long-estranged parents have reunited in Abuja to stand by her amid the growing tension with her husband, billionaire politician Ned Nwoko.
In an emotional post shared on social media, Regina described the reunion as one born purely out of love and concern for her wellbeing.
She said her parents, once “sworn enemies,” had come together with no hidden motives other than to support their daughter as her family battles the alleged detention of her brother, Sammy West.
Regina wrote:
“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness. And I dare question God for putting me in this situation? They are currently in Abuja. Bro Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long but we will get him out or rather I will march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!
My father is a lawyer — actually one of the biggest back in the day, but Nigeria happened. I’ll tell you more about my father later. And my mother? She’s a powerhouse! They would do anything for their children. I love you mom and dad! This is all I actually ever wanted. #FreeSammyWest.”
This development follows the arrest of Regina’s brother, Sammy West, allegedly ordered by Nwoko, who reportedly demanded that the actress return to him.
Recall that Regina recently accused Ned Nwoko of domestic abuse, a claim that has since led to a public fallout between the couple.
In a recent video, the mother of two vowed to fight for the custody of her children, while pleading with Nigerians to stop insulting her mother, clarifying that she married Nwoko “out of love, not for money.”
With her parents now united in Abuja and fully backing her, Regina Daniels seems more determined than ever to confront her husband’s alleged actions and reclaim peace for her family.
