Singer Zinoleesky has ignited widespread speculation about a possible fallout with his record label boss, Naira Marley, following a strongly worded post that went viral on social media.
The controversy began after the “Kilofeshe” crooner shared a message on his Instagram story on Saturday, vowing to speak up against the exploitation of artistes in the music industry. In the post, he hinted at experiences of unfair treatment and called for greater accountability.
“I’m standing up not just for myself but for every artist who has ever felt powerless or taken advantage of. We deserve better. We deserve transparency, fairness, and respect,” he wrote.
His cryptic message immediately fuelled speculation among fans, many of whom linked the post to unresolved tensions within Marlian Music. Social media users began revisiting the late Mohbad’s past allegations against Naira Marley and his associates, questioning whether Zinoleesky was now echoing similar concerns.
The development comes two years after the death of Mohbad, Zinoleesky’s former labelmate, who had repeatedly accused Naira Marley’s camp of harassment, intimidation, and exploitation before his passing.
Zinoleesky joined Marlian Music in December 2019, and his recent comments have raised questions about the state of his relationship with the label.
As of the time of reporting, neither he nor Naira Marley has issued any further clarification, leaving fans and industry watchers speculating about a potential split.
