Chris Brown Vows to Perform in South Africa Despite Growing Petition to Ban Him

Chris Brown may be gearing up for one of the biggest stages in entertainment, according to his longtime manager, Anthony “Ant” Wilson, who believes a Super Bowl Halftime Show is firmly in the singer’s future.

Speaking with Billboard, Wilson expressed full confidence that the global superstar is destined for the NFL’s premier stage:

“I also think the Super Bowl would be a great place for him. I believe it will happen.”

When asked if any early conversations had begun, he kept things close to the chest, simply responding:

“We’ll just see.”

The prediction comes during a landmark period for Chris Brown. This year, the Virginia-born hitmaker celebrated the 20th anniversary of his self-titled debut album and secured a GRAMMY for Best R&B Album.

Chris Brown’s massive Breezy Bowl XX world tour — held exclusively in stadiums — became his biggest tour yet, pulling in an estimated $300 million across 48 shows worldwide.

For now, the NFL spotlight belongs to Bad Bunny, who is set to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show in February 2026.
