Early Life and Education
Onyinye Odokoro (born December 13, 1996, 29 years old) is from Enugu State, Nigeria, but was raised in Anambra State by Mr. and Mrs. Odokoro.
She is the third of four children and comes from a close-knit Igbo family. She went to the University of Calabar, where she studied Nursing Science and earned a Bachelor of Science degree.
After graduating, she chose to focus on her acting career, even though she had never worked in nursing.

After university, Onyinye started her acting career. She first appeared in the Dilemma series of Africa Magic as Rekiya and Emuche.
In 2021, Onyinye had her breakthrough with Parallel Lines and False Doors. After that, she landed the lead role as Zara in Showmax’s Princess on a Hill, which is a boardroom drama of power and deception.
She was impressive as Sophia in the Sky Original Unwanted, which was directed by Oscar-nominated Oliver Hirschbiegel, and also as Nnenna in the award-winning Phoenix Fury
In 2025, Onyinye’s extremely emotional portrayal of Adanna in Netflix’s Baby Farm, alongside actress Kiki Omeili and Genoveva Umeh, a story of a young mother who gets caught up in a trafficking ring, was praised by critics for its realism and authenticity.
