Rukayat Lawal (born on June 30, 1974, 51 years old) is from Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
She is a product of good parenting by Mr. and Mrs. Lawal. Her Father wanted her to become a shoemaker, but she was a little girl when she discovered her love for acting after a drama group came to her school and performed.
She started acting very young in a drama group at her primary school, and, as a cultural child from Ibadan, she further developed her talent. Rukayat Lawal finished secondary school before deciding to make a career in the arts.
