Nollywood actor Mustapha Sholagbade has expressed deep gratitude to God after surviving a road accident that nearly claimed his life in October.
Marking his birthday on Thursday, the actor took to social media to reflect on the frightening experience, sharing photos from the crash and offering prayers of thanksgiving.
In his post, Mustapha described October 14 as a day that almost ended his life, noting that he chose not to go into details about the incident. Instead, he focused on expressing appreciation for what he described as divine intervention.
“Happy birthday to me. +1 -1. 14th of October, a day that nearly claimed my life. Long story, but today is not the day to tell the story,” he wrote.
He went on to ask his followers to join him in thanking God for sparing his life.
“I need you, yes, you, to give thanks to Almighty Allah on my behalf. Thank you, Yah Allah. I don’t know how to thank you enough,” he added.
The actor further stated that despite offering prayers, thanksgiving, and acts of worship both privately and publicly, he still feels his gratitude is insufficient.
“Yah Allah, please accept my thanks given and continue your special grace in my life. Never leave me, never forsake me, Yah Allah. Alhamdulillah Yah Robi,” he wrote.
Although Mustapha did not disclose how the accident occurred, he emphasized his faith and asked for continued protection.
Mustapha Sholagbade is a well-known Nollywood actor who frequently shares personal milestones with his fans. In 2022, he announced the birth of his third child, publicly thanking his wife for the addition to their family.
