Friends of Nollywood actress Ashabi have pulled off a massive surprise celebration in her honour as she marked her 30th birthday.
The actress, who is also the baby mama of singer Portable, celebrated her birthday on Saturday and shared photos on social media of herself in an elegant white gown.
In her post, Ashabi reflected on her journey, noting that things could have turned out worse but that God made everything better.
Unbeknownst to her, her friends had planned an elaborate birthday surprise, which included a cash gift of ₦500,000, a flower bouquet, and other thoughtful presents.
One of her friends, Eesha Surprises Event, who coordinated the celebration, described Ashabi as a queen deserving of special treatment.
“Queen deserves to be treated like this. Happy birthday, woman king,” the organiser wrote.
The surprise gesture sparked warm reactions online, with fans and colleagues sending in congratulatory messages and celebrating the actress as she entered a new decade.
