The Blind Side Actor Quinton Aaron Placed on Life Support After Fall at Home

Quinton Aaron, best known for his role in the 2009 hit film The Blind Side, is currently on life support following a fall at his home.

According to reports, Quinton was at home with his wife, Margarita Aaron, walking up the stairs when he suddenly lost feeling in his legs.

This, in turn, caused him to collapse at his home, and his wife promptly called 911.

In a detailed account, she explained that the actor had a severe blood infection, which is why he has been put on life support. She said:

“After the 911 call, we went to the hospital and the doctors determined to put him on an endotracheal tube because his breathing was a little sporadic. They’re continuing to run tests right now to find out what the root cause of the issue is. He’s still on antibiotics, blanket antibiotics to just cover whatever the issue might be with regard to his blood.”

A GoFundMe campaign was set up for Quinton Aaron to help assist his family. The campaign so far has garnered $38,000 in donations. His wife also provided an update on his GoFundMe on his status, stating that he opened his eyes:

“[Quinton] has opened his eyes and has some feeling in his foot! He’s still on life support and going through tests. We are looking at quite a recovery time and will need a wheelchair when he is released while he goes through therapy to walk again.”

‘The Blind Side’ actor gained notoriety for portraying Michael Oher alongside Sandra Bullock in the true story film. The real-life Oher made it to the NFL and became a Super Bowl champion.
