Social media commentator Geh Geh has ignited political debate after asserting that Peter Obi would be unable to defeat Bola Ahmed Tinubu even in what he described as a free and fair election.
In his remarks, Geh Geh argued that Obi lacks the necessary political “structure” to secure victory. According to him, while Obi may possess vision, he does not have a clearly defined pathway or organized framework to translate that vision into electoral success.
He further claimed that many Nigerians remain uncertain about Obi’s current political party affiliation, suggesting that such ambiguity could create confusion among voters.
By contrast, Geh Geh praised Tinubu’s political machinery, describing it as organized and visible. He pointed to early campaign efforts and established grassroots networks as indicators of what he termed strong political structures already in place.
Geh Geh said:
“Peter Obi can never win Tinubu even in a free and fair election. Even if they say make dey do the election very free and fair, Peter Obi can never win Tinubu and I’ll give four reasons. Number one, he not get structure. Peter Obi not get structure. He na leader way get vision but he not get path on how to reach that vision. Many people up till now never know the political party where Peter dey. They don’t know if whether hin dey ADC, PDP, they don’t know the political party. While Tinubu on the other hand, you see say, him vision they very, very clear. Now election never reach o, they don’t start campaign already. You see all the city boy movement, structures don they on ground, people don’t they on ground, bodies, personalities. They don they empower people to do the needful thing. While Peter Obi is more of the social media type of person….”
The comments have since generated mixed reactions online, with supporters and critics of both politicians weighing in on the ongoing political discourse.
