British media personality Gemma Atkinson has revealed she was once offered a substantial sum of money to speak negatively about Cristiano Ronaldo following the end of their brief relationship in 2007.
“When we broke up, I was offered a lot of money to speak badly about him, and I didn’t want it because I had nothing negative to say about him, so I see no reason to speak ill of him,” Atkinson told Key 103 Radio, via Transfer News Live.
The actress and footballer, both now 41, drew significant public attention when they were seen together during Ronaldo’s time at Manchester United F.C.. However, the relationship ended in October 2007.
Atkinson is now married to Gorka Márquez, and the couple share two children, Mia and Thiago.
The player, on the other hand, is engaged to Georgina Rodríguez. The couple share daughters Alana and Bella, and also welcomed twins Eva Maria and Mateo via surrogacy. Bella had a twin brother, Angel, who died shortly after birth. Ronaldo also has an older son, Cristiano Jr., from a previous relationship.
Rodríguez and Ronaldo met in 2016 when she was working as a sales assistant at a Gucci store in Madrid.
