The Pussycat Dolls are reportedly preparing for yet another comeback — but this time with their smallest lineup ever.
According to The Sun, the iconic pop group best known for hits like Buttons and Don’t Cha is set to reform as a three-woman unit, featuring Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, and Kimberley Wyatt.
Sources claim the trio are planning a new tour, marking the most stripped-down version of the Dolls since they first burst into the mainstream.
Originally inspired by a burlesque dance troupe of the same name, the Pussycat Dolls officially entered pop music in 2005 as a six-member group, comprising Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberley Wyatt, Ashley Roberts, Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, and Melody Thornton.
The group disbanded in 2010 after years of internal tension and uneven distribution of the spotlight.
Their much-hyped 2019–2020 reunion was short-lived. Melody Thornton opted out, while the remaining members released the comeback single React.
Plans for a global tour later collapsed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and a highly public legal dispute between Scherzinger and founder Robin Antin — a battle that appeared to put an окончательный end to all things PCD.
Until now.
A source told the outlet the comeback has been quietly building behind the scenes:
“Nicole and the girls have been talking about getting Pussycat Dolls back together for months now.
COVID scuppered the original plan, and then disagreements behind the scenes meant it all fell apart.
But Nicole, Ashley, and Kimberly are a solid unit, and they’re raring to go.”
The trio are reportedly set to meet in London to finalise details and “toast the deal,” with an official tour announcement expected in the coming weeks.
For fans, the news feels both unexpected and familiar — another chapter in the Dolls’ long history of reinvention, drama, and resilience.
Whether this lean lineup will finally deliver the comeback that has survived pandemics, lawsuits, and years of tension remains to be seen.
One thing is certain: the Pussycat Dolls are not done yet.
