Music power couple Adekunle Gold and Simi have dismissed circulating rumours about their marriage after sharing a lighthearted video together.
The couple appeared in a clip posted on Adekunle Gold’s Snapchat page, showing them abroad enjoying a quiet moment as they admired the moon outside their residence.
In the video, both were seen wearing matching glasses as they filmed the moment. Adekunle, who first spotted the moon, expressed excitement and wished fans well for Ramadan.
Amused by the sight, he jokingly credited a human for the moon, prompting laughter from Simi, who playfully corrected him for not giving credit to God.
He captioned the video: “Ramadan Mubarak. We don see moon for this side.”
The post comes weeks after a fake divorce certificate of the couple surfaced online, sparking widespread reactions and speculation across social media.
Although their management had earlier debunked the claims, some netizens remained skeptical due to the couple’s reduced public appearances and Adekunle’s silence during a recent controversy involving Simi.
However, the new video appears to put the rumours to rest, showing the pair relaxed and happy together.
In January, the couple celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary, reflecting on their journey together.
Adekunle described Simi as his best friend, saying each year of their marriage has been “gentler than the last” and that loving her remains the easiest and most beautiful decision of his life.
Simi also reaffirmed her love, describing him as the husband of her youth and thanking him for the peace and joy he brings into her life.
The couple got married in a private ceremony in 2019 and welcomed their daughter, Adejare, in 2020.
