Being a good person doesn’t guarantee success, it just means you can sleep at night – BBNaija’s Tacha

Tacha Surprises Fans with Birthday Message to Mercy Eke

Reality TV star and influencer, Tacha, has taken to social media to express her doubts about some of the commonly taught principles of life.

In a post shared on X, the former Big Brother Naija housemate reflected on the lessons she grew up hearing about hard work, fairness, and success.

According to Tacha, she had always been told that if she worked hard, played fair, and followed the rules, life would eventually reward her. However, she said her experiences have made her question whether those ideas truly reflect reality.

Tacha suggested that many of the people who promote fairness often fail to follow the same rules they advocate, while those who create the rules themselves rarely abide by them.

She also noted that being a good person does not necessarily guarantee success in life, but rather the ability to live with peace of mind.

Her post reads

‘’All my life I was told: work hard, play fair, follow the rules, and life will reward you.

Then you grow up and realize the rules were written by the winners and they never follow the rules.

The people who preach fairness don’t always play fair.

Being a good person doesn’t guarantee success. It just means you can sleep at night.”
