Nollywood actress Seilat Adeyemo, popularly known as Seilat, has announced the passing of her father, sharing an emotional tribute that has touched many fans.
The actress took to Instagram on Monday to reveal the heartbreaking news, expressing the deep pain she is currently experiencing.
“My dad fought so hard, but God loved him more and called him home to rest,” she wrote.
She described the loss as overwhelming, admitting she never imagined she could feel so shattered.
“I never imagined I would feel this shattered and broken. Losing a parent is a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone.”
Seilat also acknowledged the outpouring of support from friends, colleagues, and fans but explained that she is not in the right state of mind to respond at the moment.
“I see all your calls and messages, but I’m not in the right state of mind to respond right now. I will get back when I can. Thank you for all the love,” she added.
Reflecting on the depth of her grief, the actress wrote, “The pain runs so deep… losing the one God used to create you.”
