Nollywood actress and singer Sandra Ifudu has shared her honest take on love and money, making it clear that financial gestures alone are not enough to win her heart.
Speaking in a recent interview, she admitted that while receiving money can be exciting, it does not translate into an emotional connection.
“There are no two ways about it, credit alerts put me in the mood,” she said.
However, she quickly drew the line between appreciation and affection.
“I’m not saying money can buy my love. Absolutely not… If you send me money, of course I’ll be happy and grateful. But if you’re not my type, nothing you do can make me date you,” she explained.
According to her, attraction and compatibility matter more than financial generosity in relationships.
Sandra Ifudu first gained attention through music, especially after her viral cover of If by Davido. She later released her own single Audio Love, featuring Daddy Showkey, with a cameo appearance by Okon Lagos in the video.
In recent years, she has shifted more into acting, steadily building her presence in Nollywood while still maintaining ties to her music background.
Her comments have sparked online conversations, especially about modern dating dynamics and the role money plays in relationships.
