Anthony Joshua Set For July Return As Tyson Fury Fight Talk Grows

Former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is set to return to the ring on July 25 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he will face Kristian Prenga as talk of a long-awaited showdown with Tyson Fury gathers pace.

The British Nigerian boxer will be looking to continue building momentum as attention grows around what could be one of boxing’s biggest possible matchups.

Joshua last fought in December, where he secured a victory over Jake Paul, before reports later emerged linking him to a tragic car crash that claimed the lives of two close friends, a development that raised questions about his future in the sport.

Despite that setback, the 36-year-old has remained visible around the heavyweight scene and continues to be linked with major fights.

Fresh speculation over a potential clash with Fury intensified after Joshua was seen ringside during Fury’s unanimous decision win over Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in April.

That appearance reignited debate over whether an all-British blockbuster between both heavyweight stars could finally happen after years of failed negotiations and repeated delays.

For now, Joshua’s attention turns to Kristian Prenga, with the Riyadh bout expected to play a major role in determining the next chapter of his career and whether a Fury showdown edges closer to reality.
