Big Brother Naija reality star Cross Okonkwo has raised an alarm over what he described as a fraudulent scheme targeting his upcoming wedding.
Taking to his Instagram story, the reality star warned fans that an unidentified individual is allegedly collecting ₦500,000 from people under the guise of selling wedding invitations.
He made it clear that the person involved is a scammer and urged supporters to report anyone engaging in such activity immediately.
According to him, no one is authorised to sell tickets to his wedding, stressing that guests will only receive official access cards through verified channels.
“Pls, no one should pay anybody money o… Pls, no one is selling tickets for my wedding. Anyone who says you should bring money is a thief, and you should report them ASAP,” he wrote.
Cross Okonkwo further advised members of his fan community to contact his team directly for proper guidance, adding that only designated representatives are handling wedding logistics.
The warning comes amid growing concerns about online scams linked to celebrity events, where unsuspecting fans are often targeted with fake access offers.
For now, the reality star says preparations for the wedding are still ongoing, but insists fans should remain vigilant and avoid any unofficial payments.
