“I No Get Body Wey Dem Go Beat” — Israel DMW Reacts As Fake Twitter Account Gets Suspended

Isreal DMW Hails Oba of Benin as Superior to Ooni of Ife in Viral Post

Logistics manager to Davido, Israel DMW, has breathed a sigh of relief after a fake Twitter account impersonating him was finally taken down.

Days after raising alarm over the impersonator, Israel returned online with an update, confirming that the account has now been suspended — and he didn’t hide his gratitude.

“Thank you, Twitter. I no just get body wey dem go beat like this,” he wrote, in his usual humorous yet serious tone.

Recall that Israel had earlier called on Nigerians to help report the fake page after spotting misleading posts that could potentially damage his reputation. He also expressed shock that the impersonator’s account was verified in the first place.

His case is just one of many, as several Nigerian celebrities continue to battle impersonators across social media platforms.

Actor Bolanle Ninalowo recently lamented the multiple fake accounts using his identity on TikTok, despite him not even being active on the platform. He questioned how he could create an official account when his name had already been taken.

In another shocking twist, Ninalowo reacted to reports that one of his impersonators allegedly defrauded a woman of ₦33 million. The actor expressed disbelief, noting that he doesn’t even earn that amount per movie.

Similarly, Yoruba actress Bimpe Akintunde did not hold back, raining curses on a scammer who was using her identity to defraud unsuspecting victims, lamenting how such acts damage the brand she has worked hard to build.

Portable’s baby mama, Ashabi Simple, also cried out after discovering someone was using her name and photos to scam people, urging fans to report and block the account immediately.

Actor Alesh Sanni even went so far as to place a ₦500,000 bounty on a suspected scammer impersonating him, after attempts to resolve the issue privately failed.

With cases like these on the rise, Israel DMW’s small win has become a moment of relief — not just for him, but for many public figures constantly dealing with online impersonation and fraud.

For now, at least, Israel can rest easy knowing one less impersonator is out of the way.
