Nollywood actress Basira Beere has once again spoken about the difficulties she experienced in her marriage, revealing painful details during an interview on Biola Adebayo’s podcast.
During the conversation, the actress recalled an emotional moment while she was heavily pregnant, claiming her husband took back a car he had bought for her and later gave it to another woman.
“I could remember how my husband collected the car he bought for me while I was still heavily pregnant for him and I later discovered he gave it to one of his girlfriends,” she said.
Basira also alleged that her husband repeatedly made advances toward several of her close friends despite knowing their relationship with her.
“My husband has asked over four of my friends out and when those ones even tried reminding him of who they are to me, his wife, my husband will calm them down and tell them nothing is wrong in dating him,” she claimed.
The actress further stated that she allegedly discovered messages and explicit materials from multiple women linked to her husband.
“I have so many women’s messages they sent to my husband in my phone up till today,” she added.
According to Basira, her husband often justified his actions whenever confronted, while she also accused his mother of supporting him despite the issues in the marriage.
“There’s nothing my husband can’t do and he will even justify his actions. His mother is always out there to support him,” she stated.
Her revelations have since triggered reactions online, with social media users debating marriage, infidelity, family interference, and emotional challenges within relationships.
