Actor and race car driver Frankie Muniz and his wife, Paige Price Muniz, have announced that they are ending their marriage after a decade together.
The couple, who share a 5-year-old son, Mauz, revealed the news in a heartfelt statement, stressing that although their romantic relationship has ended, they remain committed to raising their son together.
Sharing the announcement on social media, the Malcolm in the Middle star disclosed that the pair had separated privately before deciding to end their marriage officially.
“Life update! Following a period of separation that we kept private, Paige and I have decided to move forward with ending our marriage.”
Frankie explained that after ten years together, they realized their relationship had naturally evolved into a strong friendship.
“After 10 beautiful years together, we’ve grown in ways that made us realize our relationship feels most natural and strong as a deep friendship and as co-parents.”
Despite their split, Frankie emphasized that their son will always remain their top priority.
He said the love and growth they shared throughout their marriage have made them stronger parents.
“We share an incredible son who remains the center of our world, and we’re both happier, stronger parents because of the love and growth we’ve shared.”
The actor also took time to thank Paige for the sacrifices she made throughout their relationship, revealing that she put many of her own ambitions on hold to support his career.
“I’m endlessly grateful to Paige for everything she’s done for me and our family.”
He continued:
“She put her own dreams on hold so I could chase mine, and she was always my biggest supporter.”
Frankie added that although their marriage is ending, their respect and friendship remain intact.
“That foundation of respect and friendship isn’t going anywhere. We’re excited to keep building Muniz Racing together and to co-parent our boy with the same teamwork and love we’ve always had.”
The couple initially shared the statement alongside a heartwarming video showing Frankie, Paige and their son dancing together to We the Kings‘ hit song “Check Yes, Juliet.”
The video carried the caption:
“Who says you can’t stay best friends with your baby momma?”
However, the original post was later deleted and replaced with a revised announcement that included the same statement but omitted the accompanying video.
While the couple’s marriage has come to an end, both Frankie and Paige made it clear that they remain united in their commitment to friendship, co-parenting and raising their son together.
