Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has responded to questions about why she was not selected for Kai Cenat’s Streamer University, saying she believes her opportunity will come at the right time.
The reality TV star commented on a user’s post on X (formerly Twitter) questioning why Nigerian content creator Carter Efe was accepted into the programme while she was not.
The user wrote:
“So Kai Cenat accepted Carter Efe into USA Streamers University but not Phyna? Why?”
Responding to the post, Phyna reflected on her own journey to success, reminding fans that she did not achieve fame on her first attempt.
She revealed that she auditioned for Big Brother Naija five times before finally earning a spot on the show and ultimately winning the competition.
She wrote:
“I auditioned BBN 5 times before I got in….. we staying locked-in my time go come.”
Phyna’s response highlighted her belief in perseverance and patience, suggesting that missing out on one opportunity does not mean success will not come later.
Her message quickly resonated with many fans, who praised her positive mindset and determination.
Kai Cenat’s Streamer University is a content creation initiative designed to mentor and support aspiring streamers and digital creators.
The programme has attracted widespread online attention, particularly after several African creators, including Carter Efe, were announced as participants.
Although Phyna was not selected this time, her response indicates she remains optimistic about future opportunities in the digital content creation space.
