Barcelona presidential candidate, Joan Laporta have set his sight on Borussia Dortmund’s wonder kid, Erling Haaland as his first signing once he secures a place back in the Spanish club hot seat.
The Spanish Giant has been rocked with a lot of troubles in the past few months
as Lionel Messi shock transfer request, and Luis Suarez departure to Athletico Madrid
saw Josep Bartomeu lost his place as the club President.
As the Spanish club set their sight on having another President to steer the ship,
Joan Laporta is seen as the favorite.
Coming for his second term and this time as a Messiah, Joan Laporta is reportedly working
on the signing of one of the best young players in the world, Erling Haaland (20).
According to reports, Laporta has been making use of his extraordinary relationship with Mino Raiola, the Norwegian’s agent, to secure the signing of Haaland.
The player has a verbal agreement with Borussia Dortmund to facilitate his departure
at the end of this season so that the maneuver could be successful.
In principle, the signing would be around 75 million euros: a high amount, but an investment more than justified.
Barcelona has been having a mixed season as they currently lie in 13th position on the
league table despite putting up an impressive performance in the UEFA Champions League.
