Popular Nigerian Youtuber, Eniola Olanrewaju, better known as Korty EO, has narrated the challenges she faced recently.
Korty revealed that she received numerous threats for the Lesbian episode of her Q&A series ‘Love or Lies’.
The Youtube star was featured in the latest episode of the Tea with Tay audiovisual podcast hosted by actor, Temisan Emmanuel Ahwieh, aka Taymesan.
She said, “People were sending me threats for a whole week straight. That they will find police for me. I mean, I feel like I don’t think you should dictate to anybody how they should live their life.
“If I choose to go out, as long as I’m not directly offending you, as long as I’m not putting a gun to your head. It’s not your business. I mean you don’t have problems. You shouldn’t carry it on your head.”
Korty EO also revealed on the podcast that she became a model by accident.
She said, “I came for IT [internship] in 300 level in Lagos, I was on my way to work with one of my friends. And then, this babe was on the bike, Tamara. And she literally like turned. I saw somebody on a bike calling me, I thought it was somebody that knew me cos even my friend was like someone is calling me. And I looked but I didn’t know the person so I was like ‘let’s walk faster’.
“And she literally turned her bike around, came and said ‘Oh! sorry’ that she just want to tell me that I look beautiful and that she has this modelling agency abi she works with a modelling agency. I said ‘I’m not interested’. Because I didn’t know anything about modelling at that time…I didn’t even know there was an industry like it.”
She added that she finally accepted to join the modelling industry after a series of persuasions from Tamara.
