Victor Osimhen, a forward for Napoli and Nigerian International, is now worth €20 more ($120m) than before.
Osimhen has surpassed Paulo Dybala as the most expensive player in Italian top flight history, according Transfermarkt.
In terms of player value, the 24-year-old is also in the top five.
The striker was instrumental in Napoli’s first Scudetto victory in 33 years during a memorable season for the Partenopei.
Osimhen, the first African to accomplish the record, led Serie A in goalscoring with 26 goals.
Since moving from Lille to Napoli for a valuation of €40m, Osimhen’s market value has increased six times.
