Elsie Okpocha, the ex-wife of comedian, Basketmouth has some important advice for people planning to get married.
She urged them to ensure they get married to a kind person.
In a video which she shared which captures her giving the advice, she said that marriage still remains a beautiful thing despite the false narratives being attached to it.
She noted that marriages maybe tough and each day, a hundred-plus number of people leave marriages but so also do hundreds of thousands of people get into the union.
According to her, it’s not the institution of marriage that is the problem; rather, it is the individuals who sometimes change.
She said that kindness is one feature that stands out in marriages. Elsie urged people to get married to those who are kind not just to them but to their family, friends and significant others.
She said the reason why this is important is because when the couple fight, which is certain in marriages, the kind partner would always show care regardless of the problem.
