In a bold accusation, Daniel Regha has claimed that Nigerian pastors have a strong affinity for the limelight.
Specifically, he pointed out their tendency to publicly declare prophecies.
This morning, Regha provided an example of Pastor Adeboye’s recent prophecy about his own death, which has sparked concern among his followers and prompted discussions about the motivations behind such public statements.
He said:
“Pastor Adeboye prophesying about his death is upsetting. Of what use is such info to the public? He might assume but what if rapture happens before then? Honestly speaking things like these are why people question Christianity.
Nigerian pastors do the mast to be in the spotlight.”
Pastor Adeboye, a well-known figure in the religious community, had previously revealed details about his anticipated demise.
This revelation ignited significant debate.
Adeboye described a serene passing, expecting it to occur on a Sunday after enjoying a meal of pounded yam, without any health issues or stress, assuming the rapture does not happen before then.
The prophecy was shared during the third day of the RCCG Holy Ghost Congress at the Redemption Camp.
Adeboye supported his belief by recounting a story about his uncle who had a similarly peaceful passing, further solidifying his conviction that one does not need to experience any suffering or affliction in death.
