The winner of Season 8 of Big Brother Naija, Ilebaye Odiniya, became emotional and expressed her frustration after trolls went so far as to wish death upon her parents.
This situation occurred after fans of Cee-C and Ilebaye engaged in banter on the microblogging platform, X, which led to a troll falsely claiming that Ilebaye’s parents had passed away.
In a post on her X page on Friday, Ilebaye emphasized that she had not done anything significant enough to deserve such a cruel label for her parents on social media.
Tearfully, she conveyed her determination to take legal action if any harm befalls her parents.
In a now-deleted post on the microblogging platform, X, she wrote;
“I have never said anything or dragged anyone on this app. Have always been on my lane. And you call my parent dead. All in the name of drag!
“What wrong have those innocent people done to you? With the tears that dropped while typing this, my God will judge you. If anything happens to my parents, I promise you, I will find you.”
