In a recent podcast interview, Nollywood actor Babatunde Bernard, also known as Baba Tee, sparked controversy by asserting that infidelity is inherent in men and is essentially unavoidable in a male-dominated world.
Baba Tee, who had previously discussed his experience with domestic violence in his first marriage, made these provocative comments during the interview.
He fearlessly stated that a man’s tendency to cheat is deeply ingrained, suggesting that even when involved in extramarital affairs, a man’s thoughts are consistently focused on his wife.
Furthermore, Baba Tee described cheating as a natural extension of a man’s existence, referring to it as a man’s “next skin.”
However, he light-heartedly suggested that the only way a woman could guarantee fidelity is by marrying an Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The conversation became more intense when podcast host Nedu Wazobia questioned whether women were futilely striving to make men faithful.
Baba Tee’s response was blunt, suggesting that a woman pursuing fidelity from a man might be setting herself up for a life of solitude.
The actor’s remarks sparked a flurry of mixed reactions on social media.
