Dr Olaide Adelami, a former Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly, has officially taken office as the Deputy Governor of Ondo State.
The state governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, selected Adelami as his deputy governor last Tuesday and subsequently submitted his name to the state House of Assembly for approval.
On Thursday, a ceremony was held at the International Culture and Event Centre in Akure, where Adelami was sworn in by Justice Olusegun Odusola, the Chief Judge of the state.
