Kanye West, the famous American rapper, has announced that he will be including Lagos in his upcoming world tour in 2024 and 2025
. The announcement was made through a post on his official Instagram story on Wednesday.
The post revealed that Kanye West will be performing at Eko Energy City in Lagos, Nigeria on December 14, 2024, and at Nyayo International Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya on December 7, 2024.
This will be the second time that Kanye West performs in Lagos, with his first performance taking place at the 2007 Star Mega Jam.
The world tour will kick-off on June 22, 2024, in Toronto, Canada before moving across the United States until August.
From there, West will continue his tour in Mexico, Spain, Egypt, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates, before concluding with performances in Kenya and Nigeria in December.
In January 2025, Kanye West will then travel from Nigeria to Australia and wrap up his tour in Japan.
