Singer Beenie Gunter has returned to Uganda after three weeks of captivity in Saudi Arabia.
He was greeted by his wonderful wife and son, who had been there for him during these difficult times of arrest.
Beenie Gunter was imprisoned while travelling to Saudi Arabia to perform. He had travelled with his wife and one of his managers.
But during the performance, there was a fight that erupted, and Beenie Gunter ended up in the fight.
Property was damaged, and as a main character, he was dragged into the fight, hence being one of the people to pay for the damages.
Fellow artists contributed money to get him out of prison, which he did, although he wasn’t allowed to leave the country until the case was closed.
Today morning, he arrived at the airport, and his wife with son were very happy to see their person come home.
The wife posted the video welcoming Beenie Gunter home, saying it is finally over as she has her man back.
