Robbers invade DJ Tira's Afrotainment studio, cart away all equipments

Afrotainment, the record label owned by DJ Tira, experienced a significant loss after its studio was robbed and left empty.

DJ Tira has not made any public statements regarding the incident, but artists TNS and Tipcee shared the news on their social media accounts, along with photos of the empty studio.

In an effort to recover the stolen equipment, the music artists are offering a reward of R20,000 to anyone who can provide information on the burglary.

“There was a break in at Afrotainment Studio last night (Wed, 24-04-2024). All studio equipment was stolen. This includes hard drives that consist of music files – including unreleased music,” she wrote.

“If anybody has any information or comes across people who are selling studio equipment that is suspected to be the equipment stolen from Afrotainment, please contact us. IMMEDIATELY on the following number: Samkelo- +27 673405002.”

“There is a reward of R20 000 for anyone who provides information that leads to the successful recovery of the studio equipment,” Tipcee added.

TNS wrote, “Sicela abanomkhondo wezigebengu, ezingene zantshontsha impahla Afrotainment Studios asithinte umkomela u20K.”
