Cristiano Ronaldo has emphasized that his main focus is on his team’s success rather than personal accolades.
Despite scoring his 66th career hat-trick and achieving an impressive 52 goals in 52 games this season, the Portuguese forward stated that he is not overly concerned with scoring another hat-trick.
Ronaldo, who is now just 10 goals away from reaching 900 career goals, helped Al-Nassr secure a 6-0 victory over Al-Wehda in the Saudi Pro League.
Despite reaching significant milestones, Ronaldo reiterated that his main goal is to prioritize the team’s success over individual achievements.
“I don’t care about scoring a hat-trick as much as I care about the team,” the 39-year-old said after the game.
The Portuguese forward is just 10 goals away from 900 career goals and when asked about that post-match, he said
“I always say, numbers come naturally, so I don’t attach numbers, they come.”
