Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola was named Premier League Manager of the Year on Tuesday, beating out competitors such as Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta, Aston Villa’s Unai Emery, Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola, and Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp.
This honor comes after Guardiola led his team to a historic fourth consecutive title.
Since joining Manchester City in 2016,the manager has now won the award four times.
With six league titles under his belt, he is tied for the second-most successful coach in English football history, behind only Sir Alex Ferguson who has won the award 11 times during his tenure with Manchester United.
