Wale Ojo, an award-winning actor, has revealed the loss of his mother.
On Saturday morning, the British Nigerian celebrity posted an Instagram photo of himself and his mother, stating that his world had crashed.
Wale expressed his anguish, saying he would miss his mother tremendously.
“My world has crashed all around me. Mama is gone. Goodnight Mum. I will miss you terribly, terribly,” he wrote.
Wale Ojo won the Best Actor prize at the 2024 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) on May 11 at Eko Hotel and Suites.
The 55-year-old scooped the award for his performance in Breath of Life.
After winning, he shared a photo of himself on Instagram with the words, “Mama I won”.
