American singer Chris Brown criticized a rising artist who bears a striking resemblance to him and has been imitating his style on social media.
Tigo Fariah, who goes by @tigoarte on Instagram, has been sharing content where he dresses like the R&B star.
In a comment on one of Tigo’s posts, Chris Brown advised him to focus on being authentic rather than trying to imitate him.
He emphasized that no matter how much Tigo tries, he can never truly be him.
Breezy wrote, “It’s lame as f*ck impersonating me. You look like you are missing a chromosome. Be you my n*gga. You could never be me! So stop it before I slap da sh*t out of you.”
Brown’s remark sparked a range of responses, with some criticizing him for being too harsh in his reaction.
