Andre Onana has stated that the Manchester United squad is “100 percent” behind Erik ten Hag.
The Cameroon goalkeeper believes the Premier League team made the “right decision” to retain him on.
Despite finishing seventh last season, United kept with Ten Hag and offered him a fresh two-year deal, with the FA Cup final victory over Manchester City enough to keep the Spaniard on.
“I’m not the one who decides if the manager stays or not,” Onana told Sky Sports News. “Obviously we had a difficult season with Erik last season but we ended very good, so the club made the right decision. “For me as a player, and on behalf of all of us, we follow him and the instructions of the manager. We are with him, 100 per cent, and it changes with the new goalkeeper coach. It is very positive.”
