Yinka Alaseyori, a well-known gospel singer, is facing backlash after a video surfaced of her incorporating the popular “Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo” melody into her worship performance at a church in Lagos.
The video, recorded during a service last Friday, has caused controversy and received criticism online.
Many have expressed disapproval of Yinka Alaseyori‘s decision to use the trending melody in her church performance on social media.

@Dostronicss added: “Romans 12:2 advises, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is his good, pleasing and perfect will.” This verse encourages believers to avoid adopting worldly practices that might compromise the sanctity and reverence due to God.”

“The focus of such artist is not on praising God but getting the audience to dance to the tune.
Friendship with the world is enmity of God….”
