Nigerian DJ DJ Cuppy, whose real name is Florence Otedola, is putting her family first after the recent passing of her grandmother.
Taking to Instagram, Cuppy posted photos of herself and her sister, Temi Otedola, spending quality time with their paternal grandmother in Epe.
Despite the loss of her maternal grandmother, Cuppy expressed gratitude for still being able to spend time with her other grandma.
Cuppy emphasized the importance of staying connected to her roots, no matter where life takes her, as it helps her stay grounded. She shared that her paternal grandmother is an impressive 92 years old.
“This year, I lost one grandma, but SO thankful to still spend time with my other Grandma in our hometown, Epe. Regardless of where life takes me, staying connected to my roots keeps me grounded. Grandma Epe is 92 years young! God is Good”.

Remembering her grandmother on Instagram, Cuppy paid tribute to the woman who helped shape her mother and, in turn, herself. Expressing her sadness, Cuppy prayed for her grandmother’s soul to rest in peace.
