Nigerian artist Ahmed Ololade, also known as Asake, has outperformed his fellow countryman Burna Boy by having the most songs on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.
Nine tracks from Asake’s latest album, ‘Lungu Boy’, made their debut on the chart this week, bringing his total entries to 50.
His collaboration with American rapper Travis Scott, ‘Active’, is currently leading the chart.
The Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart was introduced in April 2022 and has since been mostly dominated by Nigerian musicians.
